Getting Ready for Race Day
A few fun tips to make race morning smooth, happy, and full of energy!

The Night Before
-
Rest up! A good night’s sleep helps you start strong and finish smiling.
-
Lay it out. Pick your race outfit and pin your bib ahead of time — fewer things to hunt for at sunrise!
-
Hydrate early. Sip water throughout the evening to stay fueled and ready.
Race Morning
-
Eat something light. A banana, toast, or energy bar will keep your energy up without weighing you down.
-
Arrive early. Parking, stretching, and high-fives are better when you’re not rushing.
-
Warm up. A quick walk or stretch gets your body ready to roll.
Racing with Littles
-
Strollers welcome! Make sure your stroller wheels are aired up and ready to roll smooth.
-
Bring snacks and smiles. A happy little racer makes every step more fun.
-
Keep it playful. Encourage the kiddos to wave at volunteers, cheer on friends, and celebrate crossing the finish line!
Stay Hydrated & Happy
-
Drink water before, during, and after. We’ll have water stations to keep everyone refreshed.
-
Listen to your body. Slow down, take breaks, and enjoy the community around you.
At the Living Life 5K, it’s not about your pace — it’s about the people beside you and the joy in every step. 🌸
